A trending hot spot for world-class wines is just one hour south of the border in Baja’s Guadalupe Valley, just outside the city of Ensenada. Home to over 100 wineries and some of Mexico’s best chefs, the valley is among the world’s “Top 10 Wine Destinations” according to Wine Enthusiast, and is being called “The Napa Valley of Mexico” by USA Today.
The Ruta del Vino Bike Ride & Wine Festival combines a world-class cycling event that tours the Guadalupe Valley, along with a wine festival that pairs the region’s best wine makers with award-winning local chefs.
THE RIDE
The Ruta del Vino Bike Ride & Wine Festival is an international cycling event through the wine capital of Mexico: The Guadalupe Valley. Along the course you’ll pass by 25 wineries in the heart of the valley, where the aroma of grapes dances with a cool Pacific breeze and the sun warms the rural landscape.
The entire course is paved and features plenty of climbing. It’s a fun ride, but if you’re an avid cyclist, we invite you to add some fun by competing in the Elite category!.
